Quality statement and Web Development Approach of Symbiosis Technologies

Our professional team maintains strict quality control comparable with international quality standards. Our quality management system ensures that we remain a trusted company for our clients for a long time.

Our standard approach to developing websites typically caters for the following.

Stage1 - Project appraisal

When a potential client contacts us first regarding their project, we take in as much details from the client as possible. The questions which we may ask are:-

  1. Are there any similar websites on the internet now? If so please list them?
  2. Do you want us to do web design as well as the backend programming part?
  3. Do you have a detailed specification sheet with all web design developer functions that you require?
  4. Etc

All communications are neatly documented for future reference and this increases and maintains the trust of our company. Plus it safe guards us in case of differences in perceptions on the exact software website specifications.

Stage2 - Our Project Proposal

Once we have satisfied ourselves fully regarding the client's project and programming/development requirement, we will proceed to create a proposal document which has all the features the client wants. We send it to the client for their perusal and approval. The client may have some modifications and so on and so forth we send the document back and forth till it becomes a master specification document and till such a time it contains 99% if not 100% of all the requirements of the project spelled out neatly. This project document will be locked and processed as the final project development specification document.

Stage3 - Agreement and Non-Disclosure Clause

We tend to follow the widely accepted international standards for any agreement format. Next we send the client our standard terms and conditions and guidelines. Once an agreement is reached, we put pen to paper and ink the deal. A PDF (non-editable) version of the software agreement and NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) is sent to both of us. And the client is asked to raise a purchase order for the website project. And the project begins!

Stage4 - Our Software Development Process

We draw up a project plan, flowchart the items, assign experienced team members for the particular project and start the database design, Do the high level functional design etc, Break up the project into modules. Once development starts we keep tab on the progress of the project on a daily basis, we conduct daily review meetings and we know exactly where we stand. Each module is fully tested for possible bugs and combinations of user inputs and we maintain and manage bugs using either BugZilla or Mantis Bug tracking systems. We always take once in 3 hour backups and we have minimum 3 copies of all the work we do. We also maintain a concurrent version system for large projects. We burn DVD's of our weekly backups.

Stage5 - Testing and Demo of the 'alpha' version

Once the project is completed, it is put through our testing team. Rigorous testing follows for the next few days. Then the project is uploaded to our own dedicated server (external web server) and a demo URL is given to the client. All modifications and changes requested are done as per agreed guidelines and the project is completed. If design and graphics were not done by us, then we integrate the design elements into our code and send the finished item to the client. This is where our quality management system really kicks in and helps us to achieve international standards in web design computer programming.

Stage6 - Warranty and guarantee Clause

For projects created from scratch by our developer team, we normally provide 18 months warranty, meaning we will fix any bugs that arise from our original programming free of cost for a period of 18 months. Yes that is guaranteed. Trust us.
Since our internet computer programmers have followed the above strict web design software standards for all of our projects, we have earned trust and name during our last ten years in business.
